THE STORIES

This is the section where you can read the adventures Aranmoore has been on. As a Storydriven Roleplay guild this functions sort of as a diary to keep track of what has happend over time.

Chapter 1: The Book of Starmantle

                                                                   by Theodore Crowfoyle

                                                                   Prologue:

The Kirin Tor had a request for The Aranmoore. To retrieve the book of Lady                                                                        Aludia Starmantle, an ancient Shen'dralar arcanist who studied some                                                                                  interesting arts of using the arcane. Now the book is buried deep within the                                                                        ruin of Eldre'Thalas better known as Dire Maul the Ogre Kingdom.

Episode 1: Journey to Feralas (09-06-2015)

The group gathered ready to set out on their adventure to Eldre'Thalas. Some                                                                      familiar face and some new recruits. The journey started from Darnassus                                                                            where the group started heading south, it was a long journey so a few stops                                                                      happend underway.

As the guild went through Desolace they were ambushed by a group of                                                                              centaurs, the whole thing turned out rather grim as Theodore Crowfoyle got                                                                        kidnapped and the Centaur Packleader challenged Lysseia Shieldbearer to a     one on one. Luckily she emerged victorious and saved Theodore and the others. The group then rushed forward to Feralas to finally setup camp for the night and sleep.

Episode 2: Kingdom of Eldre'Thalas (14-06-2015)

As the group wakes up the prepare to enter Dire Maul. As they plan their way in they go over the options of where the book could possibly be and they conclude four different areas. But before the can access that they must get passed the massive door blocking the entry.

As they finally enter Dire Maul they are greeted by the Keymaster Glub'tok who is not willing to let them pass into the Kingdom, but he is defeated and Iliantha Windleaf unlocks the door. Inside the group decided the best place to start is within the Shen'dralar burial chamber, but that was sadly a foolish choice as they awaken an angry spirit from its rest that decides to play games with them. Linson Netley and Grumbi Firebrew beats the spirit's game and it leaves the group alone.

Continueing their search for the book they go into the Colosseum at the center to dig, where they instead find a Shen'dralar orb that unleashes a powerful Mana Wraith. The researchers successfully dispells the magical fiend with a little help from the fighting force, and the group decides the only place left to check is the Ogre Treasure Room. In that chamber the ogres stood their ground to protect their treasure but Aranmoore overpowered them and found the Book of Starmantle within the lootpiles of the ogres. This triggered the whole ogre kingdom and Aranmoore ran as fast as they could to escape Dire Maul with the book.

They finally settle back at camp to rest before the next day, to see what the book contains before handing it over to the Kirin Tor...

Episode 3:  An Inconvenient Twist (18-06-2015)

The next day the group woke up victoriously, and started packing up their camp. Before they left Crowfoyle wanted to have a quick look at the book, but as he opened it a burst of light came out of it and suck some strange energy out of him and he fell lifeless to the ground. Borin new someone who was an expert on anything Kaldorei, and asked Iliantha to rush to Feathermoon Stronghold and send word for Lorekeeper Asaewen Ambersinger. The group the proceeded to grab Crowfoyles body and run there. To their surprise the Lorekeeper was an absolute disgrace offending everyone, and had a foul mouth. But the group needed to him in order to restore Crowfoyle. He had Linson portal them to Darnassus to study the book further as he told Aranmoore about what kind of magic Aludia Starmantle uses: Summoning, Mana Draining and Chronomancy. He then concluded that this book was on Mana draining, and had sucked out Crowfoyle's energy and in order to restore him they had to sacrifice a naga corpse to the book. The group then went to Darkshore to lure in a Naga from the sea, and they did indeed have the book swallow it's remains, but to everyones surprise Asaewen Ambersinger betrayed them and ran off with the book, but of course could not get away fast enough and was caught. In his hour of desperation he used the books power to 'evolve' himself into a naga, but was slain before he could do any harm. The book had now siphoned the naga energy and was safe to touch, therefor they could extract Crowfoyles from within it and revive him, although upon ressurection an odd naga hiss came from the light. After being concious again he was terribly confused and the group returned to Dalaran to try and make all this make any sense.

They first concluded that Aludia Starmantle is still alive as a naga, that her book someone teaches Kaldorei to evolve, and that the Kirin Tor librarian who gave them this job might know about this, and this could all be a trap... something for sure did not make sense, now finally Aranmoore just needed to tie the puzzle together and confront the Kirin Tor.

Episode 4: Confrontation with the Kirin Tor (19-06-2015)

Finally the entire puzzle was to be put together and take it to the Kirin Tor. Theodore Crowfoyle had everyone scatter around Dalaran to dig up old lore books and scrolls to help understand the matter, this led to the conclusion that the librarian Caellor seemed to have a connection to Asaewen Ambersinger and they both had an obsession with aquamancy and the naga. With this material Aranmoore deemed that Caellor was up to something and the cursed book should be sealed away instead. But as they went into the Violet Tower Caellor snatched the book and revealed his master scheme to use it (along with 2 other books he had stolen) to create a new race that he claimed would reigh supreme. He made his escape jumping out the tower and vanished, witht the book. This was a major loss and Aranmoore had to find Caellor to stop this plan of his, but they didn't know where to look, until they remembered a sealed up document Linson Netley had found doing the scavenger hunt around Dalaran, it contained a message from a naga named Aludia Abyssmantle, could this be the clue they need? Is this Lady Starmantle? Crowfoyle would trace down the document and locate the naga so the group could get information from this creature... and maybe find Caellor and the book.
